As usual I've been keeping Mommy and Daddy super busy (having fun of course!) Fall was action packed with trips to a pumpkin field, visits to the playgound, Halloween, leaf raking, and all sorts of other shenanigans!
Picking Pumpkins
Mommy and Daddy took advantage of a sunny day in October to go pumpkin picking. This wasn't your ordinary every-day pumpkin picking though. There was a petting zoo, games to play AND a hayride! It was a blast.
Playing in the "Hay Loft" - it was hard to walk, but FUN to throw the hay around with the other kids!
Ducky Races!!! Daddy showed me how to work the pump...
After the duckies we went to check out the real critters. I thought the chickens were so silly - I wasn't quite sure what to make of them.
Same with the bunnies. They looked fluffy, but I couldn't figure out how to test to see if they actually WERE.
On the other hand, the goats were super friendly, and I got a total kick out of the fact that they kept coming over to visit me. (Mommy said it was because they thought I had food... I think it was because they were as curious about me as I was about them!)
After we got our fill of the fun and games, it was time to get down to business...the business of picking pumpkins!!! We got in the hayride and headed out. As you can see, I was completely focused on the task at hand.
It was tough going at first, but I got the hang of it...
After our success in the field, the ride back was full of smiles. All in all, it was a very successful day out!
HALLOWEEN!!!!
Halloween this year was so much fun! (not that you can tell from most of my pictures unfortunately). I got to celebrate twice!!! My first Halloween was at daycare. We got to get dressed up and go on a parade, then we went back to our classroom for a party! Mommy colunteered to help out, so she didn't get as many pictures as she wanted, but we got a few.
My teacher was putting makeup on the other kids, and I decided that I just HAD to have some of my own... I mean, what's a fierce dragon costume without fierce make-up?
After our parade, we headed back and chowed down...
A week or so later on actual halloween, I had a real treat (hee hee he). Mommy and Daddy took me trick or treating! I got dressed up again and headed to a nearby neighborhood where they go all out decorating and block off the street for cars. When we were there, Mommy got a surprise - turns out my costume was glow in the dark!
Taking in all the decorations...
My first Trick-Or-Treat loot!
Resting up between houses...
AS we were heading out. one house started playing all sorts of Haloween music, so of course I had to strut my stuff.
Leaves Glorious Leaves!
As usually happens in the Fall, all the leaves...well... fell. :) Daddy thought it was a chore, but me - I thought it was just chock full of awesome! Mommy bought be my very own rake so I could help.
Playing at the Park
After a hard afternoon of raking leaves, it was time to have a little fun.
First up was pumpkin keep-away from Daddy!
Then Mommy and I headed to the Park. Nowadays I know my own way there, but I still make my usual stops to make sure all is as it should be.
Checking to see if there's any new progress on the construction across the street...
On the path in the park...
I still love the "buzzy bee" and the swings the best. Always so much fun!
Thanksgiving
We took a quick trip up to PA to go see Nanna and Pappy and my new cousin Claire! It was really cold, but I did get to play in the backyard a little with Daddy.
I hung out with my cousins Claire and Samantha (but WAS a bit more interested in toys...)
And I got to ride on a moose and an ATV!
I hope you all had as much fun this fall as I did. Next stop - Christmas!!!
